SGS Ireland – building capacity and skills in medical device regulation
SGS is the world’s largest inspection, testing and verification business and has operated in Ireland for over 40 years. SGS, Notified Body under Medical Device Regulation (EU) 2017/745 has developed a 10 week online postgraduate (Level 9) CPD programme in Implementing Regulatory Requirements for Medical Devices, accredited by TU Dublin.
SGS has partnered with TU Dublin’s School of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences for the accreditation of this programme.
Led by Dr. Matthew Huntley, SGS Global Medical Device Training Manager, with guest lectures from SGS’s global team of auditors, the programme combines comprehensiveknowledge of the requirements to achieve regulatory compliance with postgraduate accreditation.
This course is aimed at graduates (of science and engineering) and existing employees in the Medical Device sector that are looking to upskill and develop their competence in supporting their businesses in preparing for full compliance with regulation in this increasingly complex sector, including and most specifically, MDR.
